I really enjoyed presenting my modules at SUPERBOOTH19! It was a real pleasure to talk to so many nice tech nerds and sounds fanatics. For me SUPERBOOTH became the event of the year since I visited it for the first time in 2017.
I want to thank all visitors at my booth e242 who took part in my presentations about:
- How to make a fake stereo signal using some simple tools
- How to get the most out of your existing eurorack system
Patching examples using eurorack-essentials active and passive modules with
- Jomox T-Rackonizer Filter Matrix Module
- Mutable Instruments Clouds
- Erica Synths DIY Delay
- MAKE NOISE Erbe Verb
- WORNG L R M S M S L R
It was really nice talking to you and seeing that you get what I’m talking about…. Just listen! Feel!
Let´s get nerdy!
Especial those who came on Thursday and took part in stereo-headphone presentation.
Cause of my delayed arrival on Wednesday, I could only get one speaker, which is really bad for a stereo presentation, I know.
Special thanks to KRK to change speakers during running booth and gave me the possibility to get the most out of my system.
This changed my hole presentation – I setup a complex patch and started music making at Superbooth19, cause I could hear what´s going on! Stereo and much louder than before. ( I still think, I got one defect speaker first… )
It was a real pleasure being a part of SUPERBOOTH19, having some many nice stand neighbours on stage E, table neighbours like Zlob Modular, great guy – I build my first DIY Modules at his SUPERBOOTH17 Workshop, Sensel – Mathieu Pé and Peter Nyboer, Erica Synths team and … so many nice people, I couldn´t pop around… I really missed talking to some many exhibitors ROBOXX, SHAKMAT, WORNG, BASTLE and ….
I started SUPERBOOTH17 with two DIY Workshops building my first eurorack modules – all passive, really easy, no power supply needed, the right modules to start with, when You have no soldering skills:
- Oscillosaurus DIY KIT CROSSCALER and MASSIVE PASSIVE
- ZLOB MODULAR DIY KIT ATTENUMIX
I use them nearby every patch till now.
I visited Superbooth17 as a musician and Blender-Artist (3d-modeling software) looking to find clients I like — I don´t want to make 3D graphics for washing powder adverts. I want to work for analog electronic instrument manufactures. I did know nearby nothing about the eurorack scene. I had analog gear like Doepfer Dark Energy 1 and MFB Urzwerg 1 and could not imagine to have the money to by eurorack-modules.
Since 2011 I spent nearby no money on electronic instruments and music software.
I came back from SB17 Berlin, meeting so many great people, musicians, dreamers, eurorack freaks, engineers doing what they want, talking about sound waves, noise, fm… great! I found a client a really fancy – Jomox – Jürgen Michaelis and won the last TSYKLON LABS CHAOS DIVIDER – now I needed power supply and had to get my first EURORACK CASE, DOEPFER A-100.
Superbooth17 totally change my way of music making! I dived into eurorack modules. I need more cables, more modules, more cases. And again… more cables, more modules, more cases…
In 2018 my mother died and after that I was even more interested in DIY modules, soldering, module pimping and music-making and could not focus on finding new clients for 3D graphics.
At Superbooth18 I visited SHAKMAT MODULAR and BEFACO DIY Workshops, build some great modules:
- BEFACO DIY KIT VC ADSR
- SHAKMAT MODULAR DIY KIT TIME WIZARD AND BISHOP´S MISCELLANY
I use them nearby every patch till now, too.
